The turn around he has created in the Kerala Ranji team has been nothing short of miraculous. Gony and Prasanth are limited bowlers but have been amongst the wickets and thanked Sree for his support. I do strongly favour him as captain. He is 28 too, right age of longevity and experience. I don't need to mention his man managment skills and spiritual words of wisdom. This will help the team. I believe he will be an aggressive captain and won't shy from his responsibility.

After what our bowlers allowed Ponting, Clark and Hussey to do after being 3 down, they will be begging Sree to even turn up 50% fit. They don't look like taking wickets minus Zak. Even he became predictable.

SRT, Dravid wouldn't want the role again. Also Srikkanth has a point, it is the batsmens fault blatantly. However, the bowlers are not that great either. Lol we suck all round! :dito:

Ashwin and Ojha are proving to be better. Plus I don't think he understands how to be a successful test captain. Sree now has a guaranted place. He is better than VK, Mithun, Ishant, Yadav and second only to an ageing Zak.

He is undergoing treatment for toe injury, ayurvedic treatment too and restarting training. If this isn't injury what is, give the guy a break :mad: This is the same toe injury that stopped him running through England.

Does he have a secured place in even the Kerala ranji team? Heard the KCA has had enough and may not let him play for Kerala anymore. He already lost his spot in the tuskers (and now the team is defunct), who knows he may not even get any bids during the IPL auctions.

What a load of rubbish! He has one of the worse averages for bowlers who have got first 50 wickets and has proved to be expensive since, in 06/07 against Windies/Eng he bowled well but nothing since. His ODI average is only marginally better. He might be better than VK, but id have Mithun/Ishant and especially Yadav ahead of him everytime.

What are you talking about ? Last season he sulked at not being made a captain and did not play. This season he played the first match (1 for 119) before getting injured and missing the rest.

Gony and Prasanth took a lot of wickets in ranji and they thanked Sree for his support. He was even on sidelines giving support. Stop quoting the first kerala match, he has been injured since england tour.
