KCA was angry because he wanted to leave initially I think but then changed his mind. That is not relevant anymore and he is available if he chooses to play. He is a proven international class act and will be available for India and IPL. Everyone will want him for IPL, remember his 07 T20 world cup performance. Thats right!! He does make an entertaining waterboy/12th man. Kochi definitely wanted a local for that role. You should stop making things up. I like Sreesanth too, but you're deluding yourself if you believe your posts in this thread. Sreesanth played in only 6 games of the 14 for Kochi. Even motabhai Parthiv was made captain ahead of him. That itself speaks volumes of his leadership qualities: that a totally ignorable character like Parthiv is picked to lead a side ahead of him, in his own home town/team. Will let you in on an interesting tidbit: I was at the Wankhede for the WC final. Before the match began and when Sreesanth was warming up, Sreesanth had a very good round of applause. One of the loudest. Some of the guys in my stand were singing something in Malayalam(I dunno the lingo) that I can't recollect now. But it was quite catchy.A few rows ahead of me, there was the entire crew of a popular Star TV soap. Being the 'stars' that they are, they had to be very vocal about everything. Sreesanth, was hit for a few boundaries in the initial overs. When he was made to field near our stand these TV actors were all encouraging him with chants like "koi baat nahi, chin up, etc". And what does Sreesanth do? He throws his juice bottle in their direction. That day only 2 players were abused. Dilshan and Sreesanth. Even those who were favourably disposed towards him initially got around hating him :(( That leads to the hypothesis: To be a die hard fan of Sreesanth, one has to be 1) Either his relative 2) Or completely demented 3) Or both He's a shyt dancer too.

No he didn't sulk. Gony and Prasanth took a lot of wickets in ranji and they thanked Sree for his support. He was even on sidelines giving support.

This is what you called "The turn around he has created in the Kerala Ranji team has been nothing short of miraculous". Prasanth has 20 wickets in five or six matches. And he has been supporting Gony while is away playing for Punjab (and that somehow is part of the miracle that he did for Kerala). Wonderful.

Stop quoting the first kerala match, he has been injured since england tour.

Why shouldn't I stop quoting it. He has played one match for Kerala in two seasons and was crap in it, and still performing miracles ?

Thanks buddy. As Sree said his effort in the world cup final was 20/10 but performance was much lower. He is an honest guy and should play all our limited overs game. He has the skill but never been given a run. Sick of seeing talentless trundlers or phasst bowlers bowling when we have Sree who is a genuine swing bowler with pace in steyn mould. A rare type of player.

at the end of the day people like to see performance. 50+ ODIs and 27 Tests is not a "run" ??? I agree - everyone is sick of seeing these trundlers especially because some of the genuinely talented guys like Sreesanth are wasting their talent in acting on the field and pissing off the Umpires and Captain when they play. If only Sree can get his act together and do something about his temperament, he can be an extremely effective bowlers but if he doesn't then he will continue to be ridiculed.

It is clear dhoni has friends in the team like p.k kohli who might do anything and he will not say a word' date=That coward dhoni where is the spirit of cricket now. if you are doing all this acting/abusing/are arrogant etc then you have got to have performance to back it up otherwise people are bound to point fingers. Kohli was one of the best performers in ODIs in the last few months while all Sree has done is to leak runs everytime he is given a chance (including the WC Final).

No. What I meant was that if you perform then even if people mind your antics they won't say much because you are performing but in case of Sree the only thing he does is acting etc. and on top of that gives away lots and lots of runs.

I agree but we must back him. He is the best seamer we have right now. He needs to be smart with his bowling and not let emotions get in the way as much. If he sticks to basics he will be successful.

Even Viru might not being out best in him. Sree is best when he is left to express himself. Then the ball will be do the talking and the sledging will be aggressive but within spirit of the game.

I think he is training there. As far as I remember he said he should be fit for Aus ODI series and has made himself available for that. See what happens.
