ravishingravi Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 One of the things I have learnt from folks of previous gen. esp. the political junkies is that Pranab is most admired or envied by most of them. Some call him the modern day Chanakya. I call him besharam to som extent. He has been vying for this position for sometime. It doesn't get any better. But with that painful stint as finance minister when he left the Indian economy at its worst in a decade, when he literally had to be thrown out like a deadweight empolyee, one does wonder how he is enjoying this so much. Hasn't his pride if he has any been hurt ever so slightly ? Interestingly, the media have no highlighted this aspect. They have gone all guns blazing after the elections of this ceremonial inconsequential post. Btw he is your new president. Now forget him for few more years. That wont be difficult.
