Crookbond Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 This is the way Dhoni always played. When he was winning everyone used to call him 'Captain Cool' and now that he has lost a couple of series the same thing becomes 'disinterested'. Actually Dhoni's style hasn't changed. +1 I was just about to post this!
Crookbond Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 why bring ganguly in to it ' date='most recent examples are shewag and [b']gambhir leading the teams to victories in india. So? Just because Sehwag, Gambhir and Dhoni lead to victories in India winning in India is a "stroll in the park"? It's one thing to improve and aim to win abroad. Totally another to consider home victories as insignificant.
Stuge Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Whatever ,overrate has become a become issue for us .For some reason Dhoni is unable to marshall his troops in that regard to get the overs done in time . He might be banned for the next match .In ODI his batting has won us many matches so he is invaluable as far a ODI is concerned .
Old guy Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 +1 I was just about to post this! already posted something similar people jsut ignored me cos it was before game finished :winky:
Texy Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 Another example of a pathetic careless decision. Right off the bat, you're telling the opposition that we're content with whatever you score and we will try to chase it. ZERO aggression even before stepping on the ground. Pathetic

Crookbond Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 What is that all about?? Playing four bowlers versus five.
vamos_rafa Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Playing four bowlers versus five. Oh ok. This is normal for us no? Infact playing 5 bowlers is the more unusual thing isn't it??And did we have a Shane Warne in our team who has been dropped for Tiwary?
saneindian Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Another example of a pathetic careless decision. Right off the bat' date=' you're telling the opposition that we're content with whatever you score and we will try to chase it. ZERO aggression even before stepping on the ground. Pathetic[/quote'] Going by that criteria, nearly every time we stepped on the field for a ODI under Dada/Dravid, we made pathetic careless decision, telling the opposition that we're content with whatever you score and we will try to chase it. ZERO aggression even before stepping on the ground. Pathetic

Yes dude but here we are playing one batsman too many on a flat track. Anyways, I love the way Dhoni rolls. There was a big suspense Rohit versus Tiwary before this game. Dhoni plays both! :hysterical:
Sidhoni Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Playing 4 bowlers is better, anyway it was the 5th bowler that was letting the runs out in the previous games
