Huh? You deem the removing of Dhoni from ODI and T20 team/captaincy based on the team's poor performance in tests as a rational outcome? We might as well ask the chief of staff of the Indian Army and the DG of the Indian Railways to resign over the 8-0 loss.

Well if you do have to replace a captain, it always helps to have the same captain across all formats. Didnt Dhoni take over captaincy in all 3 formats? Its much better for the team to have one captain across all formats, rather than having a seperate test captain. Not that we are setting the world on fire on T20s or tests either, we did lose the tri-series, the Asia cup, etc

We lost by just 1 run. If we think about it, we will know that one run could have come from anywhere. An extra effort in the field, better bowling, extra run with great running between the wkts. Why blame Dhoni for the loss? One thing which I think MS should have done is taking a single off penultimate ball and back himself up like always, and hit a six to win the match or at least a 4 to tie it.

thats it !! i have seen seen rahane so much on the bench in his bib that i cant picture that bench without him. :P
