India has beaten Srilanka in ODI series as follows In India in 1982/83 (3-0),1986-87(4-1),1990-91(2-1), 1993/94(2-1),2005/2006(6-1),2006/2007(2-1),2009/10(3-1). India has also defeated SL in SL in 1993 (2-1),2008(3-2),2008/09(4-1),2012(4-1).SL has beaten India only once 1997 (3-0) in SL India thrashed SL in 2003 and 1999 and defeated SL badly in final of 2011 Worldcup Yet their fans say "We beat crap out of you" These stats should be saved and posted on every forum where SL fans come to make them chup

Before 2004, when I migrated to Canada ,I used to think SL fans would be supporting India in non SL games. But after I came here and after a couple of years of interaction with SL fans , I was surprised at amount of hate they have for India especially Indian cricket. I was initially surprised . Prior to 2004 I never rejoiced at SL loss nor did care for match against SL was won or lost, but when I kept on hearting that SL team whips Indian team every time, I got bit annoyed. Now I make it a point to keeps these stats on a notepad and every time I see a big talking SL post ,I simply give him the stats to read and I think all of us do so in future as well. For all SL fans claiming to thrash India for decades - here are stats to support your theory. Also in Asia cups , India has thrashed SL almost 75% of time. And as for test , lets not even get into it because I cant embarrass anyone even so much.
