jairamesh Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 CLT20 might be all fun and games or time pass, but it provides a good barometer where domestic cricket of individual nation stands. So yet another CLT20, and IPL teams with all the backing of billionaries and mighty BCCI still get pawned/mauled/ass whooped by clubs with 0.1% of their budget. No surprises with clubs from Australia and South Africa dominating, and no surprises they continue to supply players for the IPL. Country rankings based on their clubs/franchises' performances
Country|Played|Won|Lost|Tied|NR|W/L Australia | 32 | 18 | 11 | 2 | 1 | 1.64 South Africa | 30 | 16 | 12 | 1 | 1 | 1.33 West Indies | 18 | 9 | 7 | 1 | 1 | 1.29 Pakistan | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1.00 India | 53 | 25 | 26 | 1 | 1 | 0.96 England | 20 | 7 | 11 | 1 | 1 | 0.64 Sri Lanka | 10 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 1 | 0.50 New Zealand | 11 | 3 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0.38
updated: 16/10/2012 source: wiki
jairamesh Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 By this criteria, West Indies should be awarded at least 1 automatic spot, and 1 qualifier.
