Who am I?

Recommended Posts

I make some (usually mildly) scathing comments about the Indian cricket team from time to time, and then go on a guilt-trip. Who am I to criticize these players? I am not putting in all the hours sweating, practicing, living out of a suitcase for half the year, having every move scutinized by the media and fans and putting up with all the social trappings. I cannot dream of doing 10% of the things that any one of these guys can do on a cricket field, yet I am quick to criticize. Who am I, and what gives me the right? I need to chill and just watch the bloody matches for what they're worth.

We are not the first set of sports fans to criticize a team's performance when they do poorly or to celebrate when they do well' date=' DUH![/quote'] True. Sports fans are fickle by nature - no exceptions. Find me a sports fan who isn't fickle, and i'll give you the pin # to my bank account...:haha: Of course, there are varying degrees of "fickle-ness" (is that even a word ?)
