Shami Ahmed should've been selected ahead of Ishant & Dinda for the 3rd test at Eden

his performance is not consistent..........he gets wickets in one inings and in the second he gets nothing......thats not acceptable.....he shud atleats get 1 or 2 during his lean days if he is good enuf ....

Our fast bowling group is pretty young & that's a plus.Umesh is 25,Ishant is 24, Aaron & Suyal both are 23,Shami is 22 & Awana is 26.Even Pankaj is only 27.These are pick of our fast bowlers.Zaheer & Umesh are 2 of our best fast bowlers & after Zak goes Shami is the best pick among these bowlers for the longer formats.

I believe Pankaj deserves more than Shami here, no doubt he is an excellent prospect....but Pankaj has loads of domestic cricket experience with him, he has excellent fitness & can bowl long spells without getting tired, plus he has a good height & under the guidance of pringle he's clocking good speed with decent control...so based on this I think...Pankaj is little ahead than Shami.

Just because Dinda had taken 67 wickets in the last season. 67 FC wickets is not a small number. Let's see how many wickets does Shami Ahmed take at the end of the season.
