The midfield HAS to be Schweini, Kroos and Martinez. Thiago will be a squad player coming in when of those guys needs a rest, whereas at Barca given the assurances he was seeking you’d think he almost certainly would have been gradually taking Xavis role sosee ing a lot more first team football. Cant see the logic from his point of view, aside from the Pep factor. And for Pep he is just a luxury item.
