DomainK Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Detailed story here: http://www.dnaindia.com/mumbai/report_sc-upholds-life-sentence-for-sisters_1796728 Amid all the discussions about the status of women in India and crimes against women, where most of us assume it's men vs women issue and that women are suffering because of men in a male dominated society, such stories show the other side as well - how women are suffering because of women. Here is a bride who has not conceived in three years, killed by her mother in law, instigated by her sisters in law. And it's not an isolated case. You will find such cases almost every other day. In fact, women's participation in dowry death cases in overwhelmingly high.
Vijay.Sharma Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I can't understand, for the life of me, how a woman can kill another woman for such a thing. I guess its more to do with what the murderer woman has ingrained in her belief systems of what women ought to be than anything else Edit - I've read reports where some women have helped their men rape some other woman and I just can't digest it. It's like a straight man helping a gay guy rape another man
