Oh yeah. Indian pitches break on Day 4 and 5 usually. Not on Day 3. I haven't watched the match honestly, but the commentary I read did not say it was a minefield.

Okay okay, so it's a minefield and we had a couple of terrific Australian spinners bowling at Dhoni. I get it now. :giggle: So Warner, Clarke and Henrique also played some terrific knocks on a Day 5 pitch. Great!

Its not a minefield as its too slow.Hope this does not turn in to a dead track as indian seamers taking wickets is highly unlikely so 10 wickets are to be taken by spinners again.May be this will be the first time 20 wickets by spinners.

I saw that. One out of 15 deliveries will fall into that rough patch and create such deviations. Did that happen throughout the match?

Many of those actually fell in the rough patch and Kohli and Dhoni did well to get to the pitch and negate them.

You also need to consider that Australia's main spinner is a very average one. All credits to Dhoni for scoring a double, it is not easy on any pitch against any opposition. But that does not change the fact that he is not really facing a formidable opposition on a difficult wicket.
