King
Man... India used a part timer and someone that has never really bowled in an international game. "Uthappa" of all was selected to bowl and hit the stumps. I was a little sceptical why would anyone use a non bowler? Uthappa and Dhoni seemed to know what they were doing out there? It's a bit strange regular Pakistan bowlers, 3 of them couldn't hit the stumps :hmmmm::alberteinstein: Link to comment
Holysmoke
see the presentation. U'll know why Link to comment
Lurker
It's a bit strange regular Pakistan bowlers' date=' 3 of them couldn't hit the stumps :hmmmm::alberteinstein:[/quote'] Thats true for them generally as well..:cantstop: Pakistani bowlers generally take the cake for extras. Hilarious/interesting and very telling that Agarkar was not picked by India as one of the 5 bowlers, shows where the faith of the team in his abilities lie. Link to comment
Holysmoke
Dhoni said in the presentation. The bowlers picked for the bowlout were picked on their performance in "mock" bowlouts in the nets. If uthappa was hitting the stumps more than agarkar.. he would be picked.... Link to comment

No wonder India conceded so many extras today! Link to comment
chanakya
Because all regular bowlers want to bowl in the corridor of uncertainty. Link to comment
living
Actually Dhoni had a good explanation. The last thing you want to do to your bowlers in a brutal T20 tournament is to put them through a bowl out. That was the reason he gave during the presentation along with 'we were preparing for such a situation'. Smart guy. Link to comment
The Outsider
Because all regular bowlers want to bowl in the corridor of uncertainty. Specially Agarkar. He defines the corridor of uncertainty. :haha: Link to comment
