FischerTal Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 yeah IPL is always considered for T20/ODI series that comes after it:wall: about conditions,if they are seamer friendly, sloggers would find it difficult and the scores would come down.like in CLT20 last year in SA where guys like Vijay,Rohit got exposed. It'll also help us to chose better fast bowlers still I agree IPL shouldnt be an indicator Do you think some of our batsmen and bowlers should play county cricket in England? It helped RP Singh in 2007 tour of England. I think it will help us prepare for South Africa.
1983-2011 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 IPL is entertainment for fans and profit making scheme for the owners, why would they want to spoil that by creating pace friendly pitches
King Khan Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 IPL is entertainment for fans and profit making scheme for the owners' date=' why would they want to spoil that by creating pace friendly pitches[/quote'] +1 true, I wont mind watching low scoring T20Is which happens mainly due to home team's bowling preference. But for IPL standard any match with total under 300 runs in 40 overs is simply a boring one to watch.
Pagalpanti Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Franchisees order the pitches. BCCI cant have directive on that I guess. The most seamer friendly tracks during IPL are in Hyd and Mohali. Mumbai is good for bounce. Bangalore - patta to aid Gayle force, rest are slow-low spin paradise.
Square Drive Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 we want patta tracks for ipl :cheer: :hysterical:
