Anjum Chopra (ex-India women's team captain) commentating in SA-Pak ODI match on Supersport network

Great achievement for her. She's working with SA women's team and Supersport have got her for this match, perhaps to give a neutral perspective. And from what I have heard so far, she's doing a pretty good job, especially in that heavily bised SA comm box. Very insightful and looks to done have a lot of prep work. Surely sounding better than a certain VVS. :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:

Anyone remember Donna Symmonds? The first woman on Test Match Special. She was quite good, heard her when she was around on Set Max.

Hearing Laxman commenting reminds me of that dialogue from "Gangs of Waaseypur"... "Beta tumse na ho payega" :haha: The guy's not a natural commentator. He's like Kapil in that respect and no matte what he does he won't be able o change much.

I was impresses with her knowledge, I think she is much better than most Indian commentators.

Anjum used to commentate for DD on Fourth Umpire, but I have never heard her before in Live match Commentary. And about Laxman, I know he has not a pleasing accent and he is very diplomatic ... but imparts great knowledge about match situations. This morning I saw him giving tips about slip fielding along with Arun Lal after Kohli dropped 3-4 catches the day before and he gave some really good points.
