Executioner Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 I think KKR will struggle this year around. Shakib's absence will be a big problem for KKR. He was brilliant with the ball in last 2 seasons. This time around, he is a much more improved batsman than before and if someone saw his 84 against Pakistani in World T20 will be confident that he has vastly improved. He will only be available for last 2 matches, so KKR should try their best to stay alive. kallis, gautam have not been in greatest form and both are suffering from niggles so the problems are quite evident. Narine will be a lesser mystery this time around, and if memory serves me right he didnt do anything special against a team like zimboks. McCullum will be leaving for tests against NZ. So the situation is quite bad for KKR. They need to hope that someone like RTD plays well for KKR

The only one to look forward to is Narine, RTD and guys like bisla/das/shukla
rajmarie Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I agree on paper the KKR batting looks weak....but you never know & also that Shakib will be missed....but you never know. Gambhir needs to show that he can still play cricket...& I am pretty sure he will be eager to win a spot in Indian cricket team via his IPL performances.
Executioner Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 Gambhir was in good form last year, but horrible off form this time around. One can argue that he singlehanded only won a majority of the matches for KKR but that will not be easy this time around Dont understand the reason behind buying McDonald. Also, dont think senanayake will get too many games because of narine

Executioner Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 RR aint qualifying this time bro, RR dont have decent local players. Rahane and dravid alone are not going to help RR.

Magneto Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 RR are known for their local players. :headshake: Who is the RR wicketkeeper?
game_changerr Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 unmukt chand will smash all kkr trundlers today:weights:,,,
Magneto Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Gowswami. Tailunt Hope he catches the ball well and scores some runs. Has been getting 20-30 regularly while opening, so he might score some 10-15 @ No.6 No firang keepers in the squad?

Yagnik is another WK and Dravid can keep too. :winky:

RR should have invested in another keeper. Goswami has tailunt but never performs. Is the super-slow spinner still in the squad who got a hattrick last year?
Number Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Someone takes a dig on the IPL tournament on some other non-Indian site. On Indian site, he is the head of supporters of a team. :hysterical:

Botha was an epic fail in the previous season.
