King Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 RP is one of the pick of the bowlers in this tourney. This fella has come of age. Sreesanth, Zaheer and RP are a good combination. Even Pathan has started to bowl well of late which bodes well for India.

Lurker Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 RP is one of the pick of the bowlers in this tourney. This fella has come of age. Sreesanth' date= Zaheer and RP are a good combination. Even Pathan has started to bowl well of late which bodes well for India. I think that combination is going to be persisted with. They are all so very unique to each other. Zaheer Khan is the leader of the pack, Sreesanth is the Mad Max, and RP is the Ace in the pack - capable of bowling fastest of the lot and still move the ball both ways. I think India has a pretty solid pace bowling attack atleast for next few years
living Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Yep he is good. And who would forget him bowling in England where he reminded people of Akram. Hopefully he would be nurtured and keep doing what he has been doing - giving me a chance to celebrate UP ka jhanda :hysterical: Remember what happened to the last guy who was bowling like Akram:finger:
Lurker Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 Remember what happened to the last guy who was bowling like Akram There is always the danger of not fulfilling the expectations, but it should be mentioned that the comparison with Akram was not drawn by Indian fans(as it was for say Pathan) but more by the English commentators and media as RP reminded them with his swing at a brisk pace. RP is quite young(23) and if only he could add an extra yard(he reaches around 88-90 without breaking a sweat) and maintain his control & movement he shall have a good career. For now the lad has SR of a wicket every 48 deliveries in Test, 36 in One Day and 10 in 20/20 while keeping his average around 30 for Test/LOI and 10 in 20/20. Cant find much fault with that really. xxx
Guest dada_rocks Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Munaf Patel and RP Singh was identified by Dada as future talent eons back.. Banki log dada ke marane mein lage rahte ho mujhe compensate karna parenga..:cantstop:
Rajiv Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I am just happy to see left armers, back in 90s- I was like where the fack are these bowlers
yoda Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Munaf Patel and RP Singh was identified by Dada as future talent eons back.. as someone pointed out earlier, even the great kapil dev and sunil gavaskar were once supposedly touched by a young fan called saurav ganguly.

Banki log dada ke marane mein lage rahte ho mujhe compensate karna parenga..:cantstop: Munaf was first brought to notice by sachin...and not dada... and ganguly also brought Droptive and kaif....

So maybe Kapil Dev had to win the WC since it was SRT who had desired and was destined..:listen:
living Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 So maybe Kapil Dev had to win the WC since it was SRT who had desired and was destined..:listen: :hysterical: I like this explanation, explains how an a$$hole like Kapil Dev lifted the trophy

King Tendulkar Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 RP is a bit naughty though. His celebrations always seem to involve timing his leap very close and some times hitting the batter he gets out! Once an accident but 4 or 5 times and its clear he is doing it on purpose! Our boys love a ruck eg Sree, ZK , Yuvi and RP Just shows the fire he has but still a bit naughty!
Lurker Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 Somehow he seems to have a girly giggle when he celebrates..hohoho kinda..I hate it..dont know why it irritates me so much but it does.
Holysmoke Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Somehow he seems to have a girly giggle when he celebrates..hohoho kinda..I hate it..dont know why it irritates me so much but it does. Specially when you have a name like RUDRA PRATAP
