CoverDrive Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 He did good back when he was our bowling coach when we won the World T20. RP etc. used to bowl good yorkers. this time with RCB he has made an average bowling line - up look decent. Vinay kumar is bowling yorkers and good short balls. Unadakat who was a poor T20 bowler has improved a lot.
Crookbond Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 In before Vilander uses the trundler bowler leads to trundler coach theory.
bhumika Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Lol fast bowlers run away. The trundler of the world is in the town. Coaches are over rated. But what did vinay kumar do when he got spanked till his bum turned black and blue at Perth. You need a good brain and good body.
trundlerNO1 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 A trundler is going to teach about fast bowling :hysterical: No thanks, we need a proper qualified and former international star. They are many that would happy to do a job in India, knowing the financial comforts in India. Shuan Pollock Jason Gillespie-Yorkshire pay peanut to him compared to what BCCI would pay, so easily can be lured Glen McGrath
singhprakash72 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Guys cut him some slack ....he must have been king of trundlers but coaching is altogether different thing and may be he has something for Indian bowlers....on lighter side he could probably teach them how to bowl slowest bouncer.

Pagalpanti Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I know its far-off but BCCI does have the money to rope in Waqar. Obviously its not a money issue but the fact that he's a Pakistani. He did a good job with Pakistani's right after the fixing fiasco and now again we can see SRH bowlers flourish under him.
CoverDrive Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 We do not need big names or international names because there is too much hype and pressure around them and it is difficult to get these big names to stay for long also. i would be more happier with qualified indian coached like TA sekar or prasad or whoever has shown good track record. another good candidate is meryck pringle of SA who has been doing good job with Rajasthan. he is foreign but he knows how to work with indian talent.
trundlerNO1 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Both trundlers. There is difference between Parasad and (Pollock & McGrath) Pollock looks a fine coach to me and should coach India
