skindia Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Marsh, murtaza ,finch and luke right....Are these called bowlers??anybody noticed this. I dont think he can play similar inning in future if they use genuine bowler against him.
I6MTW Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 First of all he hit 17 sixes. Finch was a part time bowler. Marsh is a decent enough bowler. Luke Wright only went for 25 in his 4 overs with a wicket.
skindia Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 what about murtaza....rasool is way better than him.
I6MTW Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 what about murtaza....rasool is way better than him. Murtaza had done well before in IPL. He's decent but Gayle likes to murder unknown and lower class bowlers.
skindia Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 richardson wasnt there last time...even thomas can do better..I don't think he can play like that if pune picks right bowlers this time..
I6MTW Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 richardson wasnt there last time...even thomas can do better..I don't think he can play like that if pune picks right bowlers this time.. They will most probably replace richardson.
trundlerNO1 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 He struggles against Quality and feast on poor quality bowling. As there a lot of quality bowlers in Big Bash, he was a big fail this time
I6MTW Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Yeah that's true. Plus he depends a lot on the nature of the pitch. In T20WC2012 final he was struggling there as the pitch was a dust bowl. He's a batting first FTB against a poor bowling attack. That's why whenever his team bats first in a flat track against poor bowling he scores a century.
saneindian Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 A little birdie from the Poona camp tells me Thappa keeps getting out to same rubbish Poona bowlers in the nets..
