Yep, this is true. Pakistani umpiring bias in the 70s and 80s was by far the most acute- not just against India but everyone else too. Just note how practically every bowler who ever visited Pakistan in those days have crappy numbers. Doesnt matter if its Bedi or Lillee or Hadlee. Basically, in those days in Pakistan, you simply couldnt get a lbw against a paki batsman unless its a 90mph missile full-toss/yorker into the pads that the Paki guy misses. As such, Paki numbers from those days mean very little to me.
