Let’s teach them about intelligent design. I think teach them the best science. Let them, give them the tools where they can make up their own mind, not only in science but as they learn and teach about other controversial issues, whether it’s global warming or whether it’s…climate change or these other issues. What are we scared of? Let’s teach our kids the best facts and information that’s out there. Let’s teach them what people believe and let them debate and learn that. Brainfade Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 It is stupid that he supports teaching it in a science class. If schools so badly want to teach it, they are free to do it in a philosophy or religion class. He must make that distinction. I completely disagree with his stand on this issue.

What is sad is Bobby's January statement (The stupid party) where it seemed like he would reposition himself as a sane candidate has been thrown into the trashcan

Are you in lockstep with Pres. Obama on every issue? I went back and re-read my original response to you; on second thoughts, I don't see anything wrong with mentioning it in a science class. I mention creationism in my General Biology class. I talk about how it is not a science and does not stand up to scientific scrutiny. I use it as an example of how science should not be done. I hope liberals like you are OK with that, and not demanding that it not be mentioned at all in a science class :-).

I was just pointing out that one cannot be against mentioning it as long as the right things are said about it.

Economics or rather predicting future economics is in its infancy and is very very immature, as in noone can realistically predict what the gas price will be in 2050 or how much inflation or what other causes could lead to a recession or boom. So parties economic agendas are basically shots in the dark and I dont care about it as much. Whereas on the social side, policies impact the current and future generations big time and this is where I am completely opposed to the repubs, creationism, gun control, drug war, religious bs etc etc.

I see people drive in nice cars to foodmax and then show food stamps. There are so many people abusing the system and so many people on disability just because they are lazy. Im not against supporting people in tough times but this is crazy.
