IKnowU Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 The BCCI has announced its first set of proposals to "clean up" the IPL, measures ranging from financial disclosures by players and team owners to curbing the tournament's controversial "entertainment" quotient, including putting a stop to cheerleaders and after-match parties. http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2013/content/story/640467.html?CMP=chrome Glad this is happening, now if they can get rid of the auction bs, it would be perfect. Going in the right direction. These steps are already more then anything Srinivasan has done for better of cricket put together during his tenure so far. :giggle:
I6MTW Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 I think I know what the BCCI means by "clean up". They will cover up the whole issue and give money to previous players of fixing to shut their mouth. And then pay extra money to the players.
Sidhoni Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 No cheerleaders? :WTF: But yeah, this a good move! :nice:
IKnowU Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 The timeouts should still be in place but should be used whenever the bowling or batting team desires.
