adi B Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Dumka district, Jharkhand: Seven policemen, including a Superintendent of Police, are feared killed in an encounter with Maoists in Dumka, Jharkhand. The senior policeman Amarjit Balihar, the SP of neighbouring Pakur, was traveling with several constables and was returning to his office in Dumka after a meeting, when their vehicles were ambushed. Pakur, on the border with West Bengal, is not seen as a Maoist-affected district. But Dumka is.
