Exactly how good is Steve Smith?

Smith is a clutch player....abdv and amla don't have 1/10th of smiths temperament and smith is leagues ahead of sanga as a t20 and odi player

Yeah if we look at temperament and pressure handling skills then Smith is the best in the world no doubt. He got some 5 consecutive fifties even in the World Cup knockouts (with one century). :hatsoff: I haven't seen much of Smith in ODIs outside Australia (I think the Australia v South Africa series was in Australia) but if this guy can dominate every bowler in the World Cup then I see little reason as to why he can't do it outside Australia.

Eager to see Ashwin vs Smith in 2017. Last time I was impressed by Smith's batting here amidst some spineless batting by the other Aussies.

Scored a ton in the last Ashes series in England, good series in the UAE too. Pretty well rounded player.
