Sidhoni Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 The problem with Podolski is he goes on missing in games. But still he is the best finisher in our team. Also Poldi will be raring to go against the Bayern team. I hope he plays and scores. Same here. Also hoping for a good match, shouldn't be one sided.
Sooda Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 So why did Pod or Giroud not start? When you dont play two main strikers youre left with a very poor pen taker takings pens. Asking for trouble. Gunners very unlucky today though
Sidhoni Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Were Sanogo/Gibbs good enough to start with? The red card to Szczęsny also hurt them as that meant Cazorla had to come out for Fabianski.

Fell asleep and missed the first 35 mins. Woke up and found out that Schz got the red card. It was pretty harsh. Read on twitter that we rattled Bayern in starting 15 mins and Ozil missed the penalty. What i saw after the red card was a very one sided game. It was all going well and 0-1 looked a good result. Then Kos bombed forward and we conceded the 2nd. Looks an uphill task from hereon.
Shane Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 zaheer, you missed the best 35 mins of football, we had the european champions clueless for the first 20 mins, we could have been 2 up, if not from that missed penalty and that that save from sanogo. But Bayern play like a freakin machine, looks like they might retain it this year.
Sidhoni Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Ozil's missed penalty was cancelled by Alaba's missed penalty. Ozil's was actually a good save by Neuer but Alaba just hit the post.
Debutant Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 That goal from Kroos against Arsenal was great. The best goals though came in the match of PSG vs Bayer Leverkusen. Ibra's finishing was awesome. Barca was as usual playing with 12 man with the referee in their side (though I am happy that it is against Man City :haha:)

Bayern had no clue what hit them, if we manage to keep it 11v11 in Allianz arena and play with same confidence we can get a positive result. Could easily have been 3-0 in 1st 10 mins. thoughts on Sanogo?
Bleed-Blue Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Manu 1-0 down At Half Time To Olympiacos:yay:
Sidhoni Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Man U lose :wall: What the f were the defenders doing during that first goal?
zaheer Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Quality Goal btw... hope Arsene gives him a chance next season.
adi B Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 united will win 3-0 AET at old trafford,u heard it 1st here
adi B Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 arsenal horrible in the 1st half but decent in the 2ndhalf.they gave it all tbh and had they not been a man down at emirates, things could have been a lot different.
zaheer Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 agree.. Bayern can be beaten.. we lack a word class striker though
Sidhoni Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 All home sides in second leg have gone through so far. United

adi B Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 ^just had the feeling, big occasions demand inspirational performances and it was delivered especially by rvp and de gea(made 2 world class saves to keep us in the tie) :hatsoff: giggs and rooney were immense as well.the defence is very shaky and olympiacos could have scored couple of goals, they need to lift themselves up for the qf against the big teams
