Ofcourse, you can take a risk and go, but then just remember that you were warned that you are exposing yourself to vagaries of immigration laws. Good luck whatever you eventually do. Thanks guys , for the info and help. Apo , I have a new i-20 issued under my name . Even in opt , i will still be in F-1 status, i.e my passport will still list show me as a student. F'leg, You are right. I am working on that too , bringing my parents here. But there will be family function sometime next year that i cant miss.
