One thing which IPL has given to the foreign players

Most of the new players have started feeling home here than away whenever they tour India. Before playing in India was a tough job. The whole tour used to be a big thing just like how it is for our players when they go to England or Australia for the first time. Now with all new comers and some other top regular players from each player playing every year in India, the players from all the countries have gotten the feel of subcontinent better. That's another reason why all the visiting side will be playing our spin better from here on or will be batting better on our pitches. Hence all the reason for high scoring games. It's a big fact which people might not notice but these Faulkners and players like Ryan Mclaren, Moses Henriques would never get the feel of Indian wickets that easy before, but with them touring every year, people will find our conditions more home than away. I don't think in coming years any team will be too scared of the "AWAY" factor in India. It might still hold it's place in test matches to an extent but in ODI cricket, it won't value much. These guys call some of these grounds as their home grounds even though they might just say it for fun to impress the media and INdian people, they have mentally picked up nature of those wickets after getting to see them so often.

All that IPL experience did not help the Aussies on the spinning wickets during the 4-0 thrashing. They would have struggled in the ODI series as well if wickets were any closer to the ones we had for the ODI series vs England earlier this year. On a flat ODI wickets anywhere in the world, home sides will have minimal advantage

Test match is a whole new thing buddy. To stay on the wicket, continuing day after day it's whole differnt ball game. They weren't able to get our batsmans out and then later our spinners found them in trouble because they couldn't play the blocking games. No wonder we get so many bat-pad dismissals in test cricket against those teams because the waiting and patience game is not that easy to play in Inida. It's a different thing. One day, the field settings the batsman's mode is different.

Snce the IPl began, we have lost a series to Aus and one to Pak (we lost a few series to them even before IPL, most notably in 2005 and in 1999 (tri series with SL). Can't exactly say IPL has benefited other teams or worked against India.

I know I know. I am just stating a very valuable point here that as we progress, in years to come, more and more players will feel the ease to bat in INdia then what it used to be. Hitting is going to another level from 2020 cricket, but in between all this, the no fear factor of playing in a place which used to be tough for any team to play in or atelast challenging, is fading away. One of the reasos of these heavy 350 scores can be possibly just split down to that too. You can't blame BCCI that they prepared same kind of pitches at all 7 venues which were supposed to host the matches in this series. I am sure they all have done accounting to the way they do always, but all have ended up giving same amount of runs. In all this, there is some thing which says that people are finding it esaier to bat in India now days then what they used to have. That includes all the twent20 cricket popularity, some cheap bowling, and the experience of batting in Indian conditions on a regular basis.

More than the IPL, its the comfort factor I believe. World class hotels, top quality transport, better airports etc, not to forget top notch cricket facilities and improved stadiums, things which were earlier lacking earlier, especially away from the Metros.
