Harsh Thakor Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Below I have chosen two of the most competitive all time cricket xi's battling against each other.I have tried to form the most intense battle with arguably not even a whisker separating the 2 sides. Team1 1.Hobbs 2.Gavaskar 3.Bradman 4.Viv Richards 5.Graeme Pollock 6.Kallis 7.Imran Khan 8.Alan Knott 9.Shane Warne 10.Glen Mcgrath 11.Dennis Lillee Team 2 1.Barry Richards 2.Hutton 3Headley 4.Lara 5.Tendulkar 6.Sobers 7.Gilchrist 8.Richard Hadlee 9.Malcolm Marshall 10.Wasim Akram 11.Murlitharan Observe the combination of pace and spin bowling, the matching middle order and the placing of Bradman and Sobers in different teams.I may just back team 2 because of Gray Sobers and the left arm variety of Wasim Akram.Amongst all-rounders Sobesr and Hadlee are pitted against Kallis and Imran..I would like readers to give their views and their 2 most competitive rival teams. However does even a whisker morally seperate these 2 sides.
Sooda Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Morally?? One thing I would say is that team A has a couple of good thinkers and one obvious captain in Imran. Team 2 does not really. Could make a difference. Team 2 for me has a much better attack. Put Steyn in instead of Lillee in 1
