yoda Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Well some of these guys obviously take pride in their work, so they should be saying wtf to themselves cause the govt breached their security and fix it instead of biatching.
Crookbond Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hit this link to hear from the horse's mouth - https://plus.google.com/+MikeHearn/posts/LW1DXJ2BK8k And ^ totally dumb observation!
yoda Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 ^^^ What is dumb that all the info I kept on my google docs were sent via unencrypted channels leaving them open for snooping. Guess what these guys did now - made all their DC to DC communication SSL encrypted which is how it should have been in the first place.
Crookbond Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Easy to say that. Read Hearn's comments on his G+ profile.
yoda Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 ^Just read the comment section on his own blog including his own responses and you will understand that is something that even Hearn admits is not as difficult as some of the other projects Google has tacked already. For the sake of consumers like you and me it is better that our data is as secure as it possibly can be.
