The Alappuzha Arthungal police had arrested actor Anoop Chandran on charges of disrupting the meeting of Youth Congress On Friday. The police state that Anoop, a resident of the area interrupted the speech in a drunken state and this led to a tiff between him and the youth congress workers The actor refuted the allegation and said that he was not drunk at the time of the incident.
