head coach
Well Aussie ODI series is almost done. Who should go and who should be in for Pak ODI series I say for ODI series: Drop: Ganguly Dravid Harbajan Singh Sreesanth Gambir (injured) (Badrinath is already in as a replacement so keep him) Bring in: Sehwag Yusuf Pathan VRV Singh Piyush Chawla Abishek Nayar Link to comment
Dravid
VRV singh :hahaha: drop the most consistent player :hahaha: ppl these days.. i would like sehwag to come back.. always does well against pakis Link to comment
fineleg
VRV singh will bowl wides down the leg side. Thats his specialty :-) Link to comment
yoda
That is a good drop list. I would bring Raina back in the mix. Not sure about VRV. Link to comment
head coach
VRV singh will bowl wides down the leg side. Thats his specialty :-) finey, Wide legs or not the main thing is to hit the target which he does with speed  Link to comment
yoda
finey' date=' Wide legs or not the main thing is to hit the target which he does with speed [/quote'] his target some times are the bails at the wrong end. :D Link to comment
head coach
his target some times are the bails at the wrong end. :D Well, you miss some you hit some isn't it? Main thing is to aim at hitting :martini_shaken: Link to comment
bharat297
VRV singh was quite possibly the worst young bowler we have had. If the Pakis dont destroy him, Australia will. Link to comment
The Outsider
VRV "lollipop" Singh should stick to eating candies after huffing and puffing to bowl at 135 kph for around 4 overs, knocking over the stumps on his side of the pitch around 8 times in that period. Link to comment
chanakya
has Chawla recovered from his injuries? Link to comment
jaideep
we can bring in chawla if he is fit and also manoj tewary...i think rohit sharma, tewary and badrinath are our future batting troika..these 3 have been among the heaviest scorers in the last couple of seasons ..Personally speaking,I have high hoped from them and they are also xcellent fielders ...comparing them with the "big three" would be unfair and would be akin to jumping the gun.. As far as bowling options are concerned, the selectors should look outside the loop ..we have players like vijay yo mahesh and left arm spinner pragyan ojha..we can even try out yusuf pathan Link to comment
Rahul Khan
head coach agreed to your bring ins, but without VRV...how about Ishant Sharma, though very new...but can do something like Balaji did in his tour...can we take a chance with Ishant Sharma from Delhi? Link to comment
head coach
Well we all know that high profile guys like Ganguly will stay in the team. The guy who really loses his spot from ODI team will be Dinesh karthick Link to comment
Holysmoke
Drop Tendulkar, recall Kaif Link to comment
head coach
Drop Tendulkar' date=' recall Kaif[/quote'] holy, even though you wrote it sarcastically there is some substance:-) Tendulkar dislikes playing in middle order and crumbles under pressure whereas Kaif has won India more matches than Tendulkar when playing as a middle order player. Count position from 4th to 6th not opener. (Because Kaif is not an opener):finger: Link to comment

First of all you forgot they cannot be in the same team. Second they are not batsmen. hehe Link to comment
Holysmoke
Holy, Looks like you have lost it! First of all you forgot they cannot be in the same team. Second they are not batsmen. heheNo, I didnt "forget" that they cannot be in the same team. That was theoretical, and I expected you to understand that..:cantstop:. My bad. Tendulkar is an opener, and Kaif is a middle order batsman. You cannot compare a specialist middle order batsman with someone who occaisionally bats there. Thats like comparing the spin prowess Brad Hogg and Mark Waugh. You know your argument was total BS, and you're actually trying to defend it!!:hysterical: Link to comment

You know your argument was total BS, and you're actually trying to defend it!!:hysterical: I was not arguing on anything... Only said that if you are to compare tendulkar with Kaif then it has to be based on a batting position both have played in ODIs. If you read my post carefully, you'll notice that i never said Kaif as a better player than Tendulkar. problem solved? Link to comment
Holysmoke
problem solved? Drop Tendulkar, Recall Kaif! :hysterical: PS- I am trying to do something similar to "Sack Fergie Sell Giggs :haha:" Link to comment
