Sachin=GOD
He has taken oath as the CM of Delhi. What the Aam Aadmi Part has achieved in such a short time is astounding. I wish Kejriwal & Co the very best of luck and hope they live up to the people's expectations :hatsoff:

bulbul
^ Misuse is the problem. Instead of that why can't they computerize most of the things? also increase pay checks of lower level govt officers. To catch some one red-handed, after complaint person has to give bribe to the culprit.

Actually the babus will now be worried whether to ask bribe or not... I think most of the will now try to get a posting in Central govt. Jobs or UP govt jobs... randomGuy
They will announce a toll free number to complain about the officer demanding bribe... There could be chances of misuse... But a good initiative... Great initiative:hatsoff: Another concept which is transformational but is probably greatly under-rated is - Decentralization. For ex. My assembly constituency has around 1.5 lac population - around 150 RWAs(resident welfare associations) . MLA fund in Delhi is Rs 4 crore per assembly constituency per annum. RWAs will be supposed to tell the MLA to spend the money on specific works in their colonies and the MLA would distribute funds among RWAs and prioritize according to the importance of the work to be done. bulbul
^ who will decide importance is the key point , every RWA will tell their work is priority.
randomGuy
^ who will decide importance is the key point ' date=' every RWA will tell their work is priority.[/quote'] Maybe, I guess in many cases, that will be easy to decide. Say one colony doesn't have water pipeline, another has potholes on road. First one would get the priority. Will be easier to janta too. They can go to local RWA instead of approaching the MLAs. For MLAs too, they would wanna distribute the funds equitably among all RWAs.
bulbul
^ That again depends on janta , maturity of our Janta is bit meh right now. All problem can be solved if our Janta is ready to cooperate.

All problem can be solved if our Janta is ready to cooperate. Its kind of a cyclic problem. Right now, even many honest people are not able work honestly due to the system. One can also say that if Netas were honest then janta will also cooperate, bureaucracy will become honest and proper systems/laws will be also be made. bulbul
^ Problem is regular folks are more than politicians...so change has to be started from our end as well. Even speaking about general behavior ,dont you see people throwing wastes in roads , urinating wherever they want, spitting pan etc.? when all these things going to stop? if we don't follow these basic things how should anyone expect better performance in matters of earning? randomGuy
Agreed but with honest committed people at the top, proper systems in place, a lot can change. For example delhi Metro main koi gand nahi felaata. Indians West main system se rehte hain
