Zap_Brannigan Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The 2 biggest obstacles that has stopped introduction of more teams into the test arena has finally been removed. Up until now, boards like PCB,SL didnt want more teams before because it meant that ICC surplus pot had to be shared by one more. Now they have no choice. The team that wins the intercontinental trophy will have a playoff with BD and if they win it, they will be inducted into the test group. The other reason being that once a nation makes it into the group, then it would mean that all the nations would have had to host and tour it in the FTP cycle. Now that's gone too, all the boards will be more open for more test nations.
