putrevus Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Finally someone with authority agrees with me. http://www.espncricinfo.com/blogs/content/story/727853.html See their power house depended mainly on umpires and coke bottle tops that's why they never won anything of note other than getting extremely lucky with 1992 cup. MJ just ran thru SA in SA but other than dominating teams like weak team like NZ that power houz was always failure when facing strong batting sides. Pakistanis tend to over hype their bowling so much.

Midfielder Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Nice rant bro' date=' Comeback when you have half a decent bowler like Wasim or Waquar.[/quote'] Several come to mind. kapil, Ashish, Zaheer none of them had to resort to lifting the seam and played in the spirit of the game with dignity.
darkshubhpatil Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 @ Pakistan: comeback when you have half a decent bowler like sir Aggy without illegal drugs, ball biting, ball tampering, match fixing, etc
Midfielder Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Kapil only made it as a allrounder' date=' Ashish Who? Zaheer Khan had few good years but that's about it. He has flopped, But I do respect him though. You talk about spirit of the game as if India is any angel.[/quote'] Kapil - the one who made your current batting consultant look silly Ashish - ripped england without ripping the seam Zaheer - at least you know little Wasim, waquar, Imran - May I say cheaters Ajmal - chucker Compared to you Travor Chappel looks like an angle.
putrevus Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Cheaters don't get recognized as greats of the game. Neither does a chucker' date=' who has stayed number 1 bowler for number of years. So get your conspiracy head out of the cave and start recognizing them as a good bowlers. If the world has accepted them then why are you left behind?[/quote'] in the era of political correctness it is cheaters who have been prospering. Otherwise guys like murali and ajmal would be making their living by doing something else.
putrevus Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Nice rant bro' date=' Comeback when you have half a decent bowler like Wasim or Waquar.[/quote'] How many tests and series did akram or waqar win in SA or Aus. So why do we need them. To win at home we dont need any body.
Midfielder Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Cheaters don't get recognized as greats of the game. Neither does a chucker' date=' who has stayed number 1 bowler for number of years. So get your conspiracy head out of the cave and start recognizing them as a good bowlers. If the world has accepted them then why are you left behind?[/quote'] You recognize them as great. I call them CHEATERS. Just because the rules have been bent to accommodate them does not mean a thing. Even your own players recognize that your bowlers have not bad it is that they cannot cheat anymore. Read the stuff by your own players who know little bit more about the team then the blinded follower like you. A day after Pakistan suffered a loss against India, former Pakistani cricketer Aamir Sohail claimed that World Cup-winning former captain, Imran Khan is responsible for the current abysmal state of the sport in the country, Times of India reported. “I want to say clearly here and for once we must face the truth that Imran is responsible for the state of affairs in our cricket,†Sohail said. Sohail was addressing Pakistan’s latest defeat to India in a Champions Trophy match on a news channel, with fellow guests Zaheer Abbas and Younus Khan. “Imran damaged Pakistan cricket by encouraging our bowlers to tamper with the ball. This has led to a culture where we can’t produce good new ball bowlers or quality openers,†Sohail added. aamir is absolutely right. You cant cheat anymore so you cant produce. Your talent is still the same but dozen cameras on field has put you in tailspin. The only bowler you have doing good is a chucker. That is a shame.
Midfielder Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Show me a place where everything is political correct? Fact is every place is corrupt in its own way and cricket is no different. So live with it and enjoy the game. Do you really want me to pull out stats for the above statement? The thing is as much as I love to see the stats, I don't really find them necessary enough to prove a point. What happens on the field is enough for me to know whose a good bowler and whose a bad bowler. These two W's were a once in a generation bowlers. I don't see any of your Indian pals doing what they did. Your second statement pretty much proves you are happy with your home stats. Well while you win at home, We will win away. So now have a good day. :two_thumbs_up: Do you really take Amir Sohail seriously? Amir Sohail has his own personal agendas against Imran Khan. If you have been following politics lately then you will know that he was more of a Shareef man then a Imran Khan man. So to me he is nothing but a tool who is spurring **** for no real reason. Also you claim I am a blind follower yet you are sitting there making statements over cheaters and chuckers. Tell me a nation that has never cheated before? Tell me a nation that is politically clean? You must be living in a small world thinking only Pakistan is cheat in this game. You guys to had your fair share of cheaters and not just you guys but the whole world to. Why is it that you don't mention them? There is corruption everywhere but you take the cake. If Ajmal action does not bother you then nothing else would. Can you give a systematic cheating on part of any nation like pakistan. You take it to new heights. Imran himself admitted that he cheated and lifted the seam. If you want to look the other way that is fine too but the evidence is overwhelming. How come your pace bowlers are not productive currently but they were before. It is because people have caught up to you and your methods. Ajmal is productive because his extra bend helps him. India never had a systematic culture of combined cheating like you guys. How come no one challenged Aamir or his statement but resort to teenage tactics of name calling. Classic case of shooting the messenger. BTW those two W's along with sohaib were L against India in a game that mattered. You had to forfeit a game in 2006 because of ball tempering. You indeed take it to new heights.
Midfielder Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 Does that not just go for anyone who sees and acknowledges Ajmal? Ajmal is not the only bowler that has bent his arm in world cricket. You labeling him a chucker is showing pure hypocrisy. Also I would like to see where Imran Khan said that. I called Murali chucker too. No hypocrisy. Why our pace bowlers are not productive currently as they were once before? That simply has to do with our domestic structure and selection blunders. Our players are not paid as handsomely as other players are around the world. So most promising talent either leaves cricket or stays stuck in the never ending circle of domestic cricket. Our selectors go back to tried and tested failures like Tanvir or Gul. We also lost our two promising bowlers in Asif and Amir not long ago, So since then we have yet to recover. Also to add to that the bowl used in domestic cricket is also not the same bowl used in international cricket. So it takes new bowlers time to adjust. So your domestic structure was great before and now it is not. Ajmal is successful because he is a thinking bowler. When he first came to the scene in International cricket he got smashed all around the park. That Hussey moment in 2010 world cup Twenty20 changed everything. He got completely demoralized by that onslaught and completely changed as a bowler. By sheer hardwork and effort he put in, he is what he is today. That is why I don't like seeing him labeled as a chucker. Great> he is the only one who thinks, others are brain dead walking like zombies. I will agree on the fact that there is a systematic cheating in my country. But from what I have observed from India structure. That cheating does happen but it is hid under carpet allot more often then not. The fact your players are not allowed to talk in media is fishy enough for me. How come no else but Amir made that statement? Amir was not the only one in the team. Other players were to, yet I never saw them making statements like these. India and Pakistan matches are always pressure matches. It is true we have never won in important games that mattered. But still our overall win and loss record is still far better then yours. And I am confident that we will soon break your streak and catch up. here enjoy what your hero said. Now you will deny it too. I will respond to other later. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cricket-imran-admits-cheating-glenn-moore-on-the-book-throwing-light-on-a-touchy-subject-1434755.html

The use of drugs was rampant in pakistan at that time. Different era and he could not face Indian openers.
Midfielder Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Then call the rest of the bowling world a chucker to then. Since its been proven that they have all have chucked before. Yup that and also some of what you said is true as well. The other nations have catched up to a thing called "Reverse Swing". Not cheating or ball tempering in general because that was going on long before that. Where did I say others are brain dead? hmm... I don't remember typing others are brain dead? Oh yes, Oh yes! Just because I said hes a thinking bowler you think others are brain dead. Look mate, you completely missed the gist of my post. What I am trying to say is, when Ajmal came into international cricket. He got smashed all over the park with the same action. In a game where its more of a batsmen game then a bowlers game. How is a bowler with a slight bend in his action causing so much havoc with the ball? The answer is simple, He is a thinking bowler who uses his main bowl "Doosra" wisely. This action does give him slight advantage as a bowler. But in a game where its more of a batsmen game then a bowlers game. It gives no excuse for any batsmen to not out play him. This same thing applies for Murli as well. Also no this is not my way of saying other bowlers don't think or are brainless. Others bowlers do have a brain and they do think. But in this world some players are better then others and over here it is no different. Fair enough, that explains why he left the game. Maybe I can have an honest discussion with you. (1) Very few bowlers have been called out for chucking. Either they moved away from the game or seriously corrected it. (2) What do the most successful bowlers of offspin have in common. A chucking action which lets them spin the bowl a little bit more compared to others. (3) Swing initially or reverse is always difficult to play. Why was pakistan successful before, if you lift the seam the bowl will do a little bit extra and that is what they were doing. Now they cant and they look ordinary. (4) When you keep on repeating a thinking bowlers you imply others dont think that is why they cant get wickets. Truth is most of them think and I can tell you what all offspinners thinh. "How come Ajmal gets away with this crap." That is what they think. Now to be objective I have challenged all SL fans to show me any picture of Murali with the birth defect when he was small and they could not. Similarly to Pakistan fans can you show me Ajmals action before the accident. No they cannot. Like I said I was not born yesterday. Ajmal is a travesty and it is a shame he is getting away with it.
Midfielder Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 (1) That's correct but that does not mean every bowler never chucked. Those that got caught were tested and those that weren't were still there. (2) Not all off-spin bowlers have been chuckers. The ones I am mostly reminded by here are Murli and Ajmal. A classical off-spinner like Swan defiantly has a place in world cricket. He used to flight it more then Ajmal, And definitely spin it more then Ajmal. (3) The bowlers we have now are no way comparable to bowlers we had before. The reason we look ordinary today is not really because we cant lift the seam. Its simply because of lack of talent. (4) I implied thinking bowler because that is who he is and what he is re known for. No where did I imply that no other bowler is a thinking bowler. With good thinking comes a good execution and Ajmal has done both. If other bowlers can do the same then they would topple Ajmal. The reason no SL or Pakistani can give you that evidence is because the answer you seek can only come, if any of us know them personally and unfortunately we don't. Therefore if the evidence you see does not convince you, nothing will. I know you were not born yesterday but I wasn't either. If its such a travesty then why not go cry and moan to the ICC about it? Instead of going to a Indian forum and making a big deal about it. (1) Very few people chuck. Very few. (2) Swan is good but not as successful as Murali and Ajmal. They are more penetrative than him. Saqlain was good but not as offensive as these guys. (3) The bowlers you have are about te same but success is less. Indian batsman are about the same Everyone else is about the same but your bowlers have declined. You know very well why. (4) Others think and practise as hard but dont bend their elbows and hence less success. (5) I am just venting on the Indian form. If you want me to rant somewhere else I would do so.
