Here is a man doubling seats of a party which is going down, fight against entire opposition which united based on Pseudo secularism, fights against vote bank and other hurdles. If party gets 200+ it will be definitely a wave

If party gets 200+ it will be definitely a wave :haha: BJP got 119 in 2009. It wouldn't reach anywhere near the "double" (i.e. 238). And its not Modi who will cause such a big increase - its a case of massive anti incumbency against UPA.

If party gets 200+ it will be definitely a wave The NDA won 159 (24.63%) seats in 2009 LS. Lets say they win 220 seats (40.5%) in 2014 LS - that would mean an increase in approx. 15% of seats. In my books, that's a surge but not a "wave".

UP, MH, BH are very complex states with multiple parties. Other 10 states BJP does not have much presence. This can be read in many ways.
