rkt.india Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 every pacer was thrashed in end overs yesterday. Chinnaswamy can be graveyard for bowlers in LOIs. Short boundaries, great pitch and ball travels there due to high altitude.
rkt.india Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Giving the ball to Dinda when he had both Aaron and Morkel was bad. But not bowling Aaron and not Starc was just stupid. 19th over is always more pressure than 20th for bowler and one wkt from starc could have won them the game Starc had just bowled 17th over.
rkt.india Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 According to rkt ' date='dinda is the best death bowler in India [/quote'] I said best death bowler in India and that is not saying much. That's how dire the situation is. I did not sau he is Malinga. There is no consistently good death pace bowler in India. BK is turning out to be good now. Dinda used to be pretty good at yorkers, but he has regressed in last 2 years. I still remember in 2012, he was PWIs best bowler, consistently bowling yorkers at death before he got injured midway.
rkt.india Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 yorkers win you matches like these. I didn't see any of those. Look at Malinga, Steyn, MJ to some extent... We need our young guys to learn this trade too. Yorkers are going to be extremely useful in the coming years - especially wc 2015. Bhuvi bowled some excellent inswinging yorkers the other night. Apart from Malinga, Steyn and MJ rarely bowl yorkers. Steyn is good because he is a great bowler and uses his experience to deceive batsmen and even he cannot do anything where there is someone like ABDV or Dhoni are batting. Less said about Johnson the better. Johnson canm be good only with new ball when there is some help for him like last year. He is hardly a death bowler.
