Two girl students from her school accidentally tripped over and fell into the river Narmada. In the midst of such a desperate situation, she jumped into the raging river and single handedly saved two drowning girls.[4] Impressed by this heroic act, BJP top cadre suggested Anandiben Patel to join the party. She initially declined the offer but later while volunteering for drought relief program she saw politics as a means of service to people and joined BJP as the Gujarat Pradesh Mahila Morcha President in 1987.[4] Her first notable work was during a spread of bird flu in Viramgam district affecting children where she spent weeks helping local citizens and enforcing the government officials to take strong action. Sachin=GOD Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Dr. Harshwardhan did very well last time even though he was brought in just one month before the election so he should be the CM candidate again. But if he is kept in the Cabinet then Smriti Irani should be the choice.

You need somebody who is cleaner than clean. In a way its a change for good. With the Goel faction placated via the rajya sabha and harvardhan in the lok sabha i feel there is a case an outsider.

But if he is kept in the Cabinet then Smriti Irani should be the choice. btw i keep hearing rumours that Swaraj might be the shock choice. she has been CM of delhi before

Certainly......except the top 4 ministries which IMO are bigger than CM position of any state in India.

But does she have the administrative experience? In her time as a politician till now she has proven to be a very quick learner so I think she will do well if given a chance. Also, she is one leader who can take on that dramebaaz Kejri in his own game and beat him. But as I said earlier, Dr. Harshwardhan should be the first choice.
