You are so negative lol he has already played in champions league and won trophy:winky: He knows what to do and when to do Same with fabregas for most of time his role won't be to attack against big teams we will use our strength which is to sit back and counter with Costa,hazard,Ramires,Willian etc probably Ramires will play with matic if we decide to do that and one of Oscar and fabregas starting and then substituted but you should not worry players like fabregas know what do do and even in this game he was not bad at all but obviously work rate was down but did not played badly as u suggest and he did well against arsenal so only game where he failed in first half was United where he got man marked and even then he was better in 2 nd half I can not be sure about fabregas in champions league but ivanovic is proven already :winky:

You can't have any weakness if you want a team to challenge for title in PL or CL. Chelsea has so much weakness in RW. Regarding Fabregas he will get exposed badly in CL against better teams. he leaves too much gap. Seems he got exposed in 1st half. Anyway missed 1st half. So not much to comment on this as of now. May be we will see wen chelsea plays big team next. See this is what I thought but go back to Everton game where we conceded 3 ..remember ? It was still new team and matic and him were both going forward and getting exposed at back but mourihno changed system now matic is one staying back just behind half way line or around it and fabregas is free to move and change position with Oscar ..that is his role and role of Willian ,Oscar and everyone else is to defend and tackle and matic himself is so good that he has already saved ass of fabregas plenty of times this season a nd this sstem is working that is his job to cover ass of fabregas :giggle: Against bayern Munich of world you should know who mourihno is expect 8 players in our half all the time :cantstop:

Old guy Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Basically Verne knows fabregas is not that great defensively but that is why he is paired with matic who covers for him Chelsea can play like last season too and not concede any goal but they don't think its needed as quality is there to out score opponent at least in epl

All I am saying is don't worry about him everything I cluding his run is planned and calculated and he actually covers up our lack of attacking flair on right wing ...anyway jose will buy big player only in August tranfer window and not January.. And I am sure reus won't betray his club and leave in middle of big champions league campaign and we won't be able to play him in champions league anyway so January will be just back ups but before next season I can see 50 odd million spend on one big player
