Till last year he was a retained player in Mumbai Indians so they were not required to announce his salary so I think he would have been getting a far bigger amount than any other IPL player. Also, IIRC there was a "Sachin" brand of toothpastes etc launched by Future group - whatever they sell, he would get a cut of that also. And I expect his earnings to increase substantially from here on because of the tennis and football teams he has bought.

That was a massive fail from the Future Group, plus the fact that the number of products under the brand has been in a constant decline, doesn't help the cause either. The revenue from the brand and the royalty earned by him is almost negligible so don't count that :cantstop:
