Should I go see an England-India Test Match?

I've never been to see cricket at the grounds/stadiums but want to. I can either go see Day 1 of one of the tests for £20 or pay £80+ for the ODI. I prefer the ODI cause there should be a result and no ishant in ODI squad (i might throw a bottle at him if i get close :D) Plus ODI has raina and kohli in prime form and the larger than life atmosphere. But a day of test cricket in England for £20.. not bad. How is the experience of being there? Anyone watched a game at an England ground? Im from UK btw. Thanks buddies.

I have been to test matches, ODIs and T20s in Australia and for me personally, test cricket was good. With my friends who are not as interested in cricket, ODI was fun but with my wife and other couples, it was T20. Dont go with a lot of expectations when you go to watch test cricket. You are there to spend the day and see proceedings, its very unlikely a lot will happen. Having said that, since its a test involving India, a lot can happen on a single day and I guess if you are supporting eng then it will make your day.

You really wanna spend that much to see Dhoni bat or Binny/Ishant bowl. Or worse seeing Dhoni pretending to be a captain of a test team.

Nah im a proud indian fan in the uk but for me, cant get better than india vs england. the squad is good but captaincy is holding us back, might see some change in tactics so thats why im excited for it. might just pay the £20 and get a day of good cricket. thanks for the input though! btw, are ODI tickets always this high priced? extortionate booking fees as well.

not sure of the booking fee tbh. As for prices if my memory serves me right, MCG sells Boxing day tickets for at least as much as it would for ODI if not more.

sri lanka fans getting a treat with a great performance. if mathews was defensive and then changed after 1 loss to Pak, why cant dhoni change after series losses to ENG, AUS, SA and NZ? Shameful and why i wont be going tbh
