Sri Lanka have shown that if you play to win and play aggressively, you can win! Look at their seamers, not the best but they have made the best out of them. I don't see why Shami, Umesh, Aaron, Bhuvi, Pandey and the next crop can't do the same. It's all about the backing and captaincy and unfortunately, MSD is not cut for the job - he won't change. He hit his peak in 2011 and we need Kohli as captain. Or else, we are looking at another drawn or lost series. See Joburg and NZ series - he eventually turned defensive and backed the wrong bowlers. At least Mathews led from the front and captained decently. Look at the results!

Sack the whole BCCI board and relinquish captaincy. Re-elect ex-cricketers such as Dravid and Tendulkar into head positions such as coaches, selectors etc and appoint captaincy to Kohli in all formats.

The people who say that Dhoni's captaincy in NZ was defensive must not have watched the test. He kept slips in for as long as was possible. The problem is that he had Ishant Sharma, Zaheer Khan and an ineffectual Ravindra Jadeja.

I think its also in the mindset the lungans go out overseas & try to win the matches. While the management, our captain & coaches already have given up when they go overseas. There's absolutely no accountability as long as they make money for the board.

Collapses happen to everyone, see england in AUS ashes and this sri lanka series, see australia vs india 2013. Whats important is that we have put up decent scores and in Joburg we were great. BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE 20 WICKETS. And ishant and zaheer cant do that. Blame dhoni cause he picks them. Its a defensive mindset: zaheer will get new ball wickets, and ishant will restrict.. well what happens when balls gets old? Shami is usually underbowled.. There is no intention to win and it sickens me. Need a new aggressive captain.
