Lurker
Countries should maybe look to recruit young players from Australia, and places like India, to increase their depths of talent," Buchanan said. Indians would take that :D Link to comment

Donny
Ijlal, the topic heading you used was not the headline of the article about Buchanan so how about you give your opinion ? You said nothing. Please explain why you think it's a stupid idea ? Link to comment

DaRealPathan
its stupid because people wont feel as proud of their country playing another country...for example if India was to play against Australia but having a few Australians in their own team....it could spoil the rivalry to a great extent Link to comment
bharat297
He was right about one thing ... we do need a summit to address this problem. The sad thing is, the countries with the most depth in talent such as the subcontinental teams and the West Indies are the teams with the most politics hindering its administration, whereas a country with a well run administration like NZL cricket lacks the depth of other nations. Extremely sad. Link to comment

Well then if I were an Indian fan I'd certainly want the current system to continue so India could be a dominant team for a period of time for Indians to enjoy. Link to comment

Predator_05
The BCCI should slap some brown shoe-polish on Shane Bond and give him Indian citizenship so he can play for us. Link to comment
beetle
It already has happened. Where? Don't mention individual cases like wessels or Kevin Pietersen .Has the ICC given the approval? Have other countries accepted? A few years of cricketing dominance and the aussies have to turn cricket missionaries. Teach the rest of the world how to play cricket. Trust a pompous aussie to come up with this idea. Link to comment
