Apparently Fletcher is behind Ashwin not playing any games in Eng so far. He has pre-conceived ideas and is too stubborn to change them - he still thinks its 2005 and the pitches will seam like they used to before Eng updated its drainage facilities at all test grounds. If that is the level of his contributions then he he should be in a retirement home somewhere not coaching an international sport team.

Fletcher would be the first person to take that into account before making a decision. Not defending his decision about Ashwin but lets stop the kaanspiracy theories.

More than anything else its the poor attitude of management/players which is difficult to digest. Only a big change in personnel can result in an attitude change of whole team. Now I guess this is more important than continuing with these guys (captain, coaching staff and few passengers) in the name of preparing for worldcup.

This time it may just happen. Cause now it's just too much. Only captain and coach pair in history for whom performance is almost irrelevant to keep their jobs but now it has just been too much. Have a feeling Dhoni will retire from tests, maybe after WI home series just so he can retire on a winning note but hopefully before cause that series is a great opportunity to rebuild before Aus tests and WC.
