There's hardly been any cricket played thanks to the rain. Also lack of sunshine means pitch will not be dry. 4th / 5th day pitch will be more like a 2nd / 3rd day pitch (in terms of overs played) and if it is not dry, it won't help spinners much. I doubt Ashwin / Jaddu will get any more assistance from the pitch unless the sun comes out blazing the next 3 days (unlikely).

I wish we could. But I understand Dhoni's compulsion too. 150-200 lead and the game is over for us. If England cross 300, we need a super human effort to escape a loss. Even with leaking easy singles, he went for 2 rpo.
