hhunaeh Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 The guy reduced unemployment in Germany to nil within just 5 years. FIVE YEARS. When you try to arm a country to fight illogical wars against everyone around you and kick out/terminate an entire set of people i suppose lots of job opportunities open up for the rest.
Precambrian Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 When you try to arm a country to fight illogical wars against everyone around you and kick out/terminate an entire set of people i suppose lots of job opportunities open up for the rest. Isn't through fighting wars/ annexing other countries every superpower developed?
hhunaeh Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Isn't through fighting wars/ annexing other countries every superpower developed? Is getting 7.5 million killed and the country split into two, development ?
Precambrian Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Is getting 7.5 million killed and the country split into two' date=' development ?[/quote'] No, that's why I said the war was his folly, especially raiding russia in winter.. that was his folly. Still doesn't nullify what he did in the preceding 10-12 years.
AmreekanDesi Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Indians who have positive opinion of Hitler probably dont now that if given the chance he wold be the first to kill every indian on the face of the earth

gaurav92 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Indians who have positive opinion of Hitler probably dont now that if given the chance he wold be the first to kill every indian on the face of the earth Mo he wouldn't. We are all Aryans you know.
PBN Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Mo he wouldn't. We are all Aryans you know. :hysterical::hysterical:
gs Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Mo he wouldn't. We are all Aryans you know. Yeah right! :cantstop: He butchered the Slavs and Russians who are probably more "Aryan" than Indians. At any rate, Aryan theory has been proved to be hocus pocus and Indians are indigenous to the region.
Sachin=GOD Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 @Gaurav - I think you need to learn a bit more about Hitler - either read some good books ("Hitler" by Ian Kershaw and "Hitler - a study in tyranny" are really good) or go to youtube and search for some documentaries - there are many good ones. Only then will you realize the scale of what he did. It is simply incomparable to anything seen in the last few centuries.
CSK Fan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Lol, it doesn't. The guy reduced unemployment in Germany to nil within just 5 years. FIVE YEARS. No, that's why I said the war was his folly, especially raiding russia in winter.. that was his folly. Still doesn't nullify what he did in the preceding 10-12 years. By most accounts Hitler just stepped into a vacuum and most things was handed on a platter for him. There are 2 reasons for all the unprecedented growth 1) There was no opposition, there was political vacuum and he seized power. 2) Whenever an absolute dictator comes, he can change things very fast, something which no elected guy can. through threat or whatever. Any country will show this pattern unless the dictator is a fool. Saddam showed similar traits. But in the long run such growth can never be sustained. It will always backfire and the country will go to dogs BTW, lots of what you heard about Germany then was propaganda (something like North Korea does). It was part of a plan to convince people of Aryan supremacy and efficiency. Lots of these things are padded up By 1937 German unemployment had fallen from six million to one million. However, the standard of living for those in employment did not improve in the same way that it had done during the 1920s. With the Nazis controlling the trade unions, wage-rates did not increase with productivity, and after a few years of Hitler's rule workers began to privately question his economic policies. Yes people who are forced to work under extreme conditions will also be technically "employed" when in reality they were more like slaves 3) And the war was not his folly. He committed one blunder after another from the time he came to power Mo he wouldn't. We are all Aryans you know. Hitler's definition of Aryans were nothing to do with our definition. In fact, his long term goal was always to have pure blonde and blue eyed human beings. Again dunno where you are getting your theories and ideas from, it is completely devoid of any reality
surajmal Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 u mean by drawing britain to WW2 along with deflecting their priorities' date=' exhausting their resources, ammunitions and most importantly by breaking their backbone by challenging their might?[/quote'] That but more importantly, WW2 strengthened the Ruskies and its commie project. So the Royal India Navy mutiny of 1946 scared the bejesus out of USA, who must have thought a repeat of 1857 would give space to Russia (since they were looking for a warm water port anyways) - so imagine them getting their hands on the entire subcontinent (from afghanistan to singapore). From there you can keep an eye on south east asia but more importantly choke the suez. But RIN mutiny was the last domino since Americans had already anticipated the designs of the ruskies and so they were constantly on the British to give up the colonies after the War so as to not have new war theaters popping up all over the globe . Conspiracies surrounding untimely death of SC Bose don't seem as such when you look at the bigger geopolitical picture. In popularity SC Bose >>>>>>>>> Nehru. Bose: mortal enemy of UK. Nehru was a willing gungadeen, so he won't object one bit taking him out, especially if he has open road to the throne after Bose's assassination. Partition throws subcontinent into chaos and closes a door to the Ruskies in their quest for that warm water port(s). Gandhi was a nuisance. He was a mascot of Congress. That is it. His only contribution was to unite India temporarily, politically speaking. Unfortunately, this unification benefited Nehru and Congress more than India and Indians. Direct or Indirect influence on the outcome? - it doesn't matter. Indians weren't in control of their destiny anyways, so Hitler has far more to do with India's "independence" than any other revolutionary (save for Bose).
CSK Fan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Here is more example of how unemployment was reduced under Hitler http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/nazis_and_the_german_economy.htm A number of policies were introduced which caused the unemployment figures to drop. Women were no longer included in the statistics so any women who remained out of work under the Nazi’s rule did not exist as far as the statistics were concerned. The unemployed were given a very simple choice: do whatever work is given to you by the government or be classed as "work-shy" and put in a concentration camp. Jews lost their citizenship in 1935 and as a result were not included in unemployment figures even though many lost their employment at the start of Hitler’s time in power. Many young men were taken off of the unemployment figure when conscription was brought in (1935) and men had to do their time in the army etc. By 1939, the army was 1.4 million strong. To equip these men with weapons etc., factories were built and this took even more off of the unemployment figure. With these measures in place the unemployment figure had to fall drastically and many saw the Nazi figures as nothing more than a book-keeping trick. However, many would have been too scared to speak out against the Nazis or pass negative comments on the published figures - such was the fear of the Gestapo. It is very easy to see why those unemployment numbers would come down from 6 million to 1 million
CSK Fan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Even in the 1857 mutiny' date=' British relied on mostly Indian soldiers and fighters from 21 princely states to do the dirty work for them. If the Indians at that time had any sense of unity, then they would have all been able to rise together and finish off the British at that moment itself. So to say violent methods were ineffective is not correct. If you have the manpower and required firepower, even a superpower like America can be taken down, as was shown by the Vietnamese[/quote'] But did we have the firepower? All we had was country made weapons, no sense of unity. Even most of our states were not united as one. British were masters of this. And as I said, any violent means used, would force Britain to bring in more soldiers from home as pride was extremely important for the empire to sustain

Bose was never in that kind of powerful position nor was anywhere that influential as you seem to be making out. Sometimes I marvel at how fanatics from both side of the borders sound exactly the same. Same conspiracy theories. Same hate of the mainstream and popular figures which would go against their 'agenda', similar use of words. And I am always surprised they never see the similarity and only hate each other more

Still doesn't nullify what he did in the preceding 10-12 years. It was not the only reason. He knew it would be hard in winter but he under estimated russian strength ,he though russian would break down under blitzkrieg ,as the war stretched longer russian manpower would eventually overcome german technical advantage.

Tapioca Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I put people like Bhagat Singh raj guru sukhdev Chandrashekhar azad shaheed udham Singh ashfaqullah khan on a higher pedestal than Gandhi. There is as much difference between Bhagat Singh etc and Gandhi as there is between Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Sachin Tendulkar. Yeah, that four in Dhaka was a great thrill, but apart from that one firecracker, there is not much else in his career.
BlueBee Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 There wasn't any equality between men and women. Men are forced to be aggressive, masculine and iron hearted whereas women are not given true freedom. They'd to maintain their purity of race (Not mix up with the jews and other races) . Nazis thought thought struggle of women can destroy society. They thought women are only to give birth to child, even motherhood crosses were awarded to the women for giving birth to more children. Bronze cross for 4 children, silver for 6 and gold for 8 and more...
PBN Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Imagine Gandhi's 'non-violence' stance against the raging armies of Hitler or Aurangzeb. :hysterical: Such a stance wouldn't work in such scenarios. Each scenario is different.
