fineleg Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 There is so much time lost during passage of play trying to get some buffoons to not hover over the sightscreen or adjust the position, ADVERTISEMENTS not turned off on sightscreens... All kinds of tamasha...Why is this mainly happening in matches in India (/subcontinent)? ICC needs to get strict about this and fine the stadium authorities if delays like this happen repeatedly.
Guest Hiten. Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 There was a game in karachi ( i think), where the game was delayed as the officials couldn't find the ball to play with. Not targeting Pakistani officials here, but trying to say that the subcontinental levels can stoop as low as the above incident stated. Subcontinental board are shear careless.
Sachinism Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 BCCI dont wanna spend money they have on indian grounds, they'd rather put money elsewhere i guess coz they are so worried about the advertising revenue they need to make sure they keep the adverts showing all the time
fineleg Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 But ICC should bring about fines to the board and stadium authorities. Hit them with hefty fines.
