Ram
Consider this , Person A hasnt a thing wrong in the last 18 months of international cricket. Has scored 1277 runs in the last 35 one-dayers he has played at an ave. of 48 including numerous man of the match and man of the series awards. Galvanised the team towards a brilliant triumph in the 20/20 world cup. Widely regarded as one of India's most talented batsman. He sits out of the first test. Person B stormed the international scene with promise only to peter away. Had persistent fitness problems , which hampered his performance in a crucial match third test match against S.Africa. There were even open calls about his commitment. Since then, the player has all but faded from public memory. By fate , India's two frontline pacers get injured and he is almost certain to play the first test. Of course , Person A is, And B is, Oh you couldnt possibly imagine how big a role luck plays in life. Watch now as Munaf bowls brilliantly and cements his place in the team.... Link to comment

Watch now as Munaf bowls brilliantly and cements his place in the team.... Luck plays a huge role - this is how a Rajnikant was made, this is how so many people in various facets of life have been touched - however you still need to make use of it. As for MP making use of it, we'll see when it happens  Link to comment

apocalypse
There is nothing like luck. You are comparing apples with oranges here. Comparing a batsman with a bowler is not good. Link to comment
retterimp
its funny how all of us fans have hope in munaf cause we have been observers of cricket for a long time and we can identify talent.... .but the sad part is....munaf himself doesn't believe that!!! hope he gets back to his good old days....then he'll have all pakis hopping on the crease with his disconcerting bounce at brisk pace.
