When list is announced it means votes have been counted already and just top 3 vote getter's are announced and suspense build before award. So any goals scored now don't count for award this year or the next.

Messi will probably hit prime again and settle about being greater but this year ronaldo deserves it But from club prespective barca look like Argentina in World Cup who were overly dependent on messi Suarez still is figuring out where to play ..when he is on right he is more involved and once he starts firing barca will be bee good enough for semi final
