The Big company ( the girl) wants to acquire the smaller one ( the boy) , but the management of the smaller one isnt willing. Then the bigger company meets the with the share-holder ( parents) of the smaller one , assures them excellent stock options and management positions in the newly formed company ( death-threats , offer of massive dowry) and finally the management relents and deal proceeds ! Needless to say, this is the most ridiculous marriage tale i have ever heard. Ridiculous, yes. But is the 'most' ridiculous you have heard? Then I guess in general you hear only good stories :D There is a lot in India that can be worse than cinema. As they say, "Truth is stranger than fiction"

As they say, "Truth is stranger than fiction" No, this wasnt the most ridiculous in terms of how dramatic the events were, but just the basis of how they got married. I mean, whats the point in marrying someone on the basis of death threats and Dowry ? What next ? If the guy doesnt take her out frequently after they get married she comes up with a " Either you take me out or i will poison your food" thingy ? Distasteful.

Actually in this case, the guy was not faultless either. Both sides screwed up. But this is surely distasteful.
