bulbul
Here are the results of the matches between the so called top 8 teams. 98 runs 111 runs 76 runs 8 wickets 150 runs 130 runs 257 runs 9 wickets 1 wicket Only 1 close match. How the **** can any of you retards defend this world cup? The quality is shockingly bad. This includes India thrashing Pakistan that alone makes this a good WC. Link to comment

You must lead one sad sad life if one result albeit against your arch rivals can outweigh the endless shyte being served up during those tournaments. Link to comment

Thanks to our bowlers stepping up in ICC tourney. SL vs Eng.. England had pathetic bowling and no intensity in the field.. Good chase by Thirumanane and Sangakkara. Give credits where it's due. Eng vs NZ - Southee 5fer destroyed poms.. Treat to watch. Eng vs Aus - Opening match was good too Aus vs Nz - everyone knows it.. Supposed to be high score thriller in that rugby ground Link to comment
BlueBee
^ What he actually meant was there's no competition. Apart from one or two matches all other matches has been quite one sided. The sole reason for this is the new rules, the two new ball rule and the new field restrictions. There's no difference between baseball and cricket ATM Link to comment

Supposed to be high score thriller in that rugby ground I completely disagree, if you can for a moment take your India cap off and see the matches as a neutral, then the actual contests were awful. Only 1 match was an actual contest the rest were one sided and whilst many were due to the **** play from one side, some were due to the pressure the conditions. One sided matches after one sided matches and 5 week qualification phase for this world cup is not going to get you any new fans, if anything you'll lose them at an alarming rate. Link to comment

Lol, the world cup as essence of cricket? ODI and T20 matches are not cricket, they are for idiots who don't know what cricket actually is. Link to comment

Sonix768
The overkill of matches in MCG, SCG and Adelaide while Gabba and WACA are overlooked, is gonna work heavily in India's (and sub continent team's) favour. Had the QFs been happening at WACA and Gabba instead of SCG and MCG, the possibility of all 3 major sub continent teams flying back home early would have been more. Now India @ MCG and SL @ SCG have great chance to trip England and SA in QFs. Link to comment
